Aptamil 1 with Pronutra Formulation

The unique composition of breastmilk gives your baby all of the nutrients they need for healthy development from the start. That’s why breastfeeding is best for your baby. During the early phase of life, important growth processes are taking place, such as the development of the immune system and the brain, which require proper nutrition.

Our scientists and Aptamil experts have been researching breastmilk for over 40 years. We’re continuously improving our range of formula so that it meets the current recommendations of nutrition experts.

Application

Aptamil 1 is tailored to your baby’s nutritional needs and supports babies’ age-appropriate development from birth:

  • Use as a stand-alone meal or supplementary food from birth.
  • Use if you decide to move on from breastfeeding.
  • Use as the next stage after pre-formula.
  • Can be used until the end of the bottle-feeding age.

Special Characteristics

Aptamil with the Pronutra™ Recipe is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of your baby at every age. This allows your baby to get the nutrient combination they need for each particular development phase.

Aptamil 1 Follow on Milk with Pronutra™ Recipe contains:

  • LCP Milupan® — LCPs are long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. These are particularly important in the first months of life, as babies are not able to produce enough of them on their own.
  • Patented GOS/FOS* — A unique fiber blend developed by our researchers.
  • Lactose and starch.
*Galacto/Fructooligosaccharides

Preparation

When preparing infant milk formula, follow the enclosed instructions carefully. Incorrect preparation can cause illness due to the growth of unwanted germs. The formula should be freshly prepared every meal and served immediately. Do not reuse leftovers. Clean the bottle and teat thoroughly. Do not heat milk formula in the microwave (danger of overheating).

Standard solution:

13.6g of powder + 90ml of drinking water = 100ml of ready-to-use formula

The measuring spoon in each pack holds approximately 4.5g of Aptamil 1 when filled to the brim.

Boil fresh drinking water and let cool to approximately 40°C.

Pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle.

Scrape the measuring spoon on the leveler on the pack to get the right dose of powder.

Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle.

Close the bottle and shake vigorously. Pour in the rest of the water and shake the bottle again. Open the bottle and attach the teat.

Check the bottle contents to make sure they are at drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).
